TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
1 c. butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla

Bring to boil butter, cocoa and water. Remove from boil. Sift together sugar and flour. Add chocolate mixture to sugar and flour. Beat by hand. Add 2 unbeaten eggs, baking soda, sour cream, cinnamon and vanilla. Pour into large shallow cookie pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.

Topping: Bring to boil butter, milk and cocoa. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; beat by hand. Pour over cooled cake. (Note: Teresa adds sour cream first before eggs and baking soda, so eggs won't cook and rising action does not begin. She pours warm topping onto cake as soon as it comes out of the oven. 1/2 cup nuts option in topping.)
