CROCK POT SHORT RIBS OF BEEF AND
NOODLES
 
Brown short ribs in small amount of oil in skillet. Place in crock pot. Add:

1 1/3 cups water
2 tablespoons beef broth concentrate (soup base) or
1 beef bouillon cube
2 garlic cloves or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. ketchup (optional)
2 bay leaves
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

At serving time, cook in boiling salt water:

1 package wide egg noodles

Drain. Remove short ribs from Crock-Pot. Put noodles in Crock-Pot beef sauce.

Serve.

Loved this! I added carrots and onion for color and texture...also needed a little bit more flour...it was delicious!!! :)
