“EASY MEXICAN RICE” IS IN:

EASY MEXICAN RICE 
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 cup long grain rice
2 1/2 cups cold water
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. garlic salt or 1 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 cup tomato sauce

In a skillet heat oil over medium heat. Add rice and cook until lightly browned. Add water and remaining ingredients, bring to a boil.

Cover and simmer until rice is tender.

Great recipe! I was making Mexican food and wanted to make a rice dish and this worked well and was really easy to do. Only thing is a little less water would have been good for mine, but I used organic long grain brown rice instead to make it healthier. Still worked fine and tasted delicious!
