BUTTERMILK POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter or 1 stick butter and 1 stick butter
1 sm. pkg. lite Philadelphia cream cheese
3 c. sugar
3 c. sifted flour
5 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Dissolve soda and salt in buttermilk. Cream sugar, cheese, and butter. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each. Add vanilla, flour, and buttermilk, small amounts of each at a time. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour or longer if necessary at 300 degrees. Do not preheat oven before putting cake in to bake. Cool in pan for 15 minutes before removing from pan.
