ICE WATER DEVIL'S FOOD CAKE | |
2 eggs, beaten 1/4 c. shortening 1 1/3 c. sugar 2 sq. chocolate (melted) 1 c. ice water 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/3 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. vanilla Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and melted chocolate. Beat well. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture with ice water. Bake in two 9 inch or 9x13 inch pan at 350 degree oven, 30 to 40 minutes. |
