POPPY SEED CAKE 
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. evaporated milk
2 c. flour
Salt
1 c. oil
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. poppy seeds

Blend sugar, eggs, milk and oil. Add dry ingredients and vanilla. Pour into ungreased bundt or tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve plain or with a lemon glaze.

Lemon Glaze:

Mix 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoonful butter and 2 tablespoonfuls lemon juice until smooth. Drizzle over cake.
