Excellent recipe! I used to work in a delicatessen, and this salad was a delicious staple. All I did to make it my perfect recipe was add some cauliflower florets and increase the dressing. DELICIOUS and half the price of the deli version!

This is a great staple at church potlucks and even at home with dinner sometimes. This is the recipe I was looking for as I had lost mine (mainly needed it for the dressing.) If you add some raisins and roasted sunflower seeds you will like this salad a lot more!

I make this recipe using "thinly sliced" red onion - it adds
color......and use Hormel Bacon Bits - since they are the real
deal......always a hit...

I like to take the bags of cubed cheese and cut the cubes in half (of 1/4's) instead of the shredded cheese. The shredded cheese seems to "get lost" in this salad. Using the cubes, you get a bite of cheese too.

AWESOME recipe as stated in the other reviews. Only difference I like better is I add sharp cheddar instead of regular cheddar and apple cider vinegar in place wine vinegar. My family liked it better with these two substitutions.
Also found fresh broccoli is better than frozen. Not as much moisture to worry about.

I also make 1 1/2 of this recipe for a nice size bowl full but I double the dressing.
