POPPY SEED CAKE | |
3 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3 eggs 1 1/8 c. oil 2 1/4 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. milk 1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seeds 1 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring 1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring Mix all together with mixer. Pour into greased Bundt pan. Bake 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean at 350 degrees. GLAZE: 1/2 c. orange juice 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring Mix well. Pour over cake while warm. Note: Punch holes in top of loaves while still warm and before pouring on glaze. |
