POPPY SEED CAKE 
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seeds
1 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring

Mix all the above ingredients together thoroughly and pour in two greased and floured loaf pans. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

GLAZE:

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. orange juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 tsp. butter flavoring

Bring above ingredients to a boil. While cake is warm, punch holes in the cake and pour on the glaze. (A drinking straw punches a nice hole in the top of the cake.)
