PEACH COBBLER THAT MAKES ITS OWN
CRUST
 
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 c. sweet milk
1 stick butter
3 c. sliced peaches with syrup

Melt butter in pan in 400 degree oven. Stir flour and sugar together and then add milk. Stir together until well mixed. Pour on top of melted butter. Then pour peaches over top. Do not stir. Put back in oven. Bake for 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Top with ice cream. Other types of fruits may be substituted.

This recipe came out in the 1960s. I was about 6 years old. It was simple enough that I was able to make this by myself.
