PORK CHOPS SAUTE WITH SQUASH AND
APPLES
 
4 thin pork chops
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. oil
Acorn squash, cut in 1/2 inch rings
2 apples, cut in wedges
1/4 tsp. cinnamon and ginger
1/8 tsp. mace or nutmeg
1 tsp. vinegar
1/3 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. butter

Coat chops with flour, brown in oil, drain off excess fat. Add squash, apples, spices, vinegar, water and salt. Simmer 20 minutes. 4 servings.
