RAISIN CUPCAKES 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins boiled 5 min. in water to cover, save liquid and cool

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and beat. Add dry ingredients alternately with raisins, liquid and vanilla. Bake 350 degrees, 25 minutes.
