RAISIN & NUT CUPCAKES 
1 c. raisins
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. bacon drippings
1 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 egg yolk

Combine first four ingredients in medium saucepan and bring to boil. Simmer 3 minutes. Cool. Add other ingredients and beat well. Drop into greased muffin tins. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
