CREATE - A - CRUST APPLE CUSTARD PIE | |
2 all purpose apples, pared and sliced 1 tbsp. lemon juice 10 tbsp. biscuit baking mix 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk 1 1/2 c. water 3 eggs 1/4 c. butter, softened 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg CRUMB TOPPING: 1/2 c. biscuit baking mix 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1/4 c. cold butter 1/4 c. chopped nuts Toss apples with lemon juice, then 2 tablespoons baking mix; arrange in buttered 10 inch pie pan. In blender, combine remaining ingredients. Blend on low 3 minutes; let stand 5 minutes. Pour over apples; top with Crumb Topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until golden. Cool. Topping: Combine baking mix and sugar; mix in butter and nuts. |
