1 gal. apple cider 1 qt. brewed tea Brandy, optional 2 whole oranges Whole cloves Mix the apple cider and the tea together in large cooking pot. Stud the oranges with the cloves and put into the cider/tea mixture. Important: The oranges must float while cooking. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for one hour, uncovered. May simmer for longer if desired. Now for the most important part, pour yourself a cup and add brandy, if desired. Enjoy the taste as well as the aroma throughout the house. |
