MAC 'N CHEESE BAKE | |
8 oz. macaroni or mini penne 8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded 4 oz. American cheese, shredded or sliced 1/2 cup heavy cream (or canned skim milk for less calories) 1/2 cup light dairy sour cream 1 tsp. sea salt 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper sweet paprika (optional) Panko Bread crumbs, for sprinkling Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a 2-quart baking dish. Boil pasta to package instructions, drain and rinse with HOT water. Stir pasta in saucepan with cheeses, cream and dairy sour cream. Season with salt and pepper. Put into buttered baking dish. Sprinkle paprika and bread crumbs. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Submitted by: LJ McDaniel |
