EASY BAKED MACARONI AND CHEESE
2 c. macaroni
2 tsp. salt
8 oz. Velveeta cheese (cut in sm. pieces)
2 1/2 c. milk
Pepper to taste
Butter

Cook the macaroni in boiling salted water until almost tender (10-12 minutes). (I add a teaspoon of Mazola to water while cooking.) Drain.

Place macaroni in a 9x13x2 inch baking dish or pan. Add the milk, cheese, and dot with butter. Place in a moderate oven (325-350 degrees). Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until it begins to brown on top.

I loved it but I would like to say I thought it was a little salty myself but still very good. I would like to suggest maybe only putting 1 tsp. instead of 2. I will definitely use this recipe again. Thanks, Mary.

OK... It turned out awesome!! I had to end up stirring it after it was done....adding more velveeta cheese (the rest of the 16 oz. package in small pieces} and added another 15 minutes and let it sit for a little while but it was GREAT!!!! Def will make again!! :)

I made this & it was very runny. Way too much milk. I had to put oven on quick bake to help cook the milk up.

I like this for a nice "not-from-a-box-quick-and-easy-mac-n-cheese" I agree it was too runny. I think less milk (2 cups vs 2 1/2 cups) and perhaps a bit more cheese (16 oz. vs 8 oz.) might make this a perfect quick dinner. :-)

3/4 cup of milk is all that is needed here!... mix grated cheddar into it for binding together and more flavor.

It tasted good but it is way way too much milk.. I suggest using 1/2 that amount. Also I didn't add any salt and it was perfect, the Velveeta is plenty salty on its own.

I added frozen broccoil and cubed ham to this dish, about 6 oz of each. It came out amazing! My entire dorm wanted some.

I modified it a little bit by putting different kinds of cheeses in and I made a smaller portion for just me and it's very easy and fast!!!! Pretty good!

Want to really kick this up... and make it "old timey". Use COLBY cheese instead. This is what our grandmothers used. Does make the difference!
