SWEET & SOUR SPARERIBS 
3 lbs. spareribs (pork)
2/3 c. dark brown sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. dry mustard
2/3 c. vinegar
Salt & pepper to taste
1 c. crushed pineapple
1/2 c. catsup
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. soy sauce

Spread meat in pan. Brown at 425 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes; drain. Combine all ingredients except salt and pepper in a saucepan. Stir until smooth. Cook at medium heat until thick and glossy, stirring constantly. Sprinkle salt and pepper on ribs. Add 1/2 of sauce and baste on ribs. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Turn ribs and add remaining sauce and bake 30 minutes more and serve.
