SWEET AND SOUR SPARERIBS 
Ribs or chops
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/3 c. chopped celery
1/3 c. chopped green peppers
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 clove garlic, minced
1/3 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. salt

Bake ribs at 450 degrees for 30 minutes. Drain and cook 1 hour more at 350 degrees.

SAUCE: In saucepan, cook celery and green peppers in butter until tender. Combine cornstarch and sugar; add to saucepan, cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Add pineapple, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, vinegar and salt. Mix well and pour over ribs. Cook 30 minutes or until tender. Baste occasionally.
