BEST EVER PIE CRUST | |
2 1/2 c. flour 1 1/3 c. Crisco 6 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. cold water 1 tsp. salt Cut flour and Crisco together with mixer. Make a paste of the last 3 ingredients and pour into mixer with other ingredients. Blend well. Roll out as usual. Bake 20-25 minutes in 400-425 degree oven. Yields 2 double or 4 single crusts. I use a pastry blender and a fork to mix instead of mixer. Very easy to make. |
