![]() 4 eggs 4 cups milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 1/8 tsp. salt 4 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 cup cream 1/3 cup sugar (or to taste) Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored. Add sugar, vanilla, nutmeg and lemon juice. Add ice cold milk and cream. Beat with an egg beater, stand mixer whisk attachment, or Vitamix Aer container until frothy. If you prefer thicker egg nog, use heavy or whipping cream. Thicken-Up can also be used as desired. Whiskey, spicy dark rum, butterscotch schnapps or Malibu coconut rum may be added to taste.
