GOOSEBERRY PIE 
3 c. gooseberries
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. tapioca
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter

Crush 1/2 the berries, add sugar, tapioca and salt. Cook until thickened then add the rest of the berries, heat through. Put in a 9 inch pie crust, dot with butter and add top. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes then 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
