1 c. sugar 1/2 c. shortening 2 eggs 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 3 1/2 c. self-rising flour Cream sugar and shortening together in large bowl. Add eggs and mix well. Add milk and vanilla. Stir in flour 1 cup at a time. Beat well. Chill at least 1 hour. Roll out on floured surface. Cut out; place on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until just brown on bottom. |
