MAMA FINLEYS TEA CAKES 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
4 1/4 c. flour

Roll out on floured board (not to thin). Cut shapes with cookie cutters and bake at 375 degrees.
