VERMONT EGGLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 1/2 sq. chocolate
2 tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour, sugar, soda and salt; add milk and mix well. Melt chocolate with shortening. When cool, stir into batter. Add vanilla; mix well. Bake in layers or square pan 25-30 minutes at 375 degrees.

Baked this for a wedding and the bride cannot have eggs and it was a real hit! Topped with strawberries cut into hearts and everyone thought it was great, moist and chocolaty
