GRANDMA'S EGGLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 cup thick milk (light cream)
1 tsp. baking soda
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa, dissolved in boiling water
1 tsp. baking powder

Mix all ingredients together thoroughly and bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.
