EGGLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cold water
1 tsp. vinegar
1/3 c. soft shortening
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Sift together flour, cocoa, and sugar, baking powder and salt. Add water, vinegar, shortening, and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour into buttered wax paper lined 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
