"PHILLY" MARBLE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweet. chocolate, melted
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, cream cheese, butter and vanilla, mix until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well each time.

Gradually add sifted flour and baking powder, mix well. Reserve 2 cups batter. Add chocolate and baking soda to remaining batter, mix well. Spoon chocolate and vanilla batter alternately into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan; cut through batter with knife several times for marble effect.

Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cool 5 minutes, remove from pan. Heat butter and milk in saucepan. Add confectioners' sugar, mix well. Stir in vanilla, drizzle.
