My mom made this recipe and got it off a can of Franco American gravy. Still have the clipping off the can. I buy stir fry steak that is already cut into strips. Makes it easier. I use frozen carrots and it cuts down on the cooking time. I cook the carrots and onions together for about 15/20 minutes or until the carrots are tender and not 50 minutes. I serve this over white rice. When I googled this recipe this was the only place I found it. It's a must try recipe.

This recipe is sooooo good! Made it like 50 years ago.. Found it on the can of beef gravy. The only thing I do different is serve it over buttered egg noodles instead of rice but either way it is so tasty .I had lost the recipe but thank heavens for the Internet!!
