PUMPKIN BREAD 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 scant c. cooking oil
4 eggs
1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
Salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1/3 c. molasses
1/3 c. water
Crushed nuts or raisins

Add sugar to oil; add eggs, pumpkin, and mix well. Add the dry ingredients with the molasses and water. Mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Makes 2 large loaves. Can also be used to make cupcakes. Bake less time. Bread is moist. Freezes well.
