QUICK SWEDISH MEAT BALLS 
2 lbs. ground beef
2 c. soft bread crumbs
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
2 pkgs. dry onion soup mix
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour

Thoroughly combine the meat, bread crumbs, cheese, soup mix, salt, nutmeg and 1/2 cup milk. Shape into about 40 small balls and brown lightly in large skillet, shaking skillet to keep balls round. Cover and cook 20 to 25 minutes or until done. Remove meat and drain off excess fat, leaving 1/4 cup fat in skillet. Blend flour in fat. Stir in remaining milk all at once; cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Return balls to skillet. Cover and cook until heated through. Makes 10 to 12 servings. Divide all in half if desired for smaller servings.
