SWEDISH MEAT DUMPLINGS 
1/3 c. milk
2-3 slices bread crumbs
3/4 lb. ground beef
3/4 lb. ground pork
1 chopped onion (may omit)
1 egg
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1-2 bouillon cubes
1 qt. water

Soak bread crumbs in milk. Combine meats, salt, pepper and egg. Add crumb mixture and mix well. Shape into small meatballs.

In a large saucepan boil water; add bouillon cubes. Add meatballs and simmer over moderate heat until done. Remove with a slotted spoon. May make a gravy or serve as is with other side dishes.
