BEER NUTS 
2 1/3 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 (12 oz.) pkg. raw peanuts (4 c.)

Mix all together. Cook and stir until the liquid is gone. Place on a buttered cookie sheet in single layer, salt thoroughly, and bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes. Turn the nuts over and salt again, then bake for 10 more minutes.
