HERSHEY BAR CAKE | |
2 stick butter 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 2-1/2 c. flour, sifted 1 scant tsp. baking soda 1/8 tsp. salt 4 Hershey bars (regular size) 1 c. Hershey syrup 1 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 c. pecans Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Melt Hershey bars over hot water and add Hershey syrup; add to sugar-egg mixture. Add baking soda to buttermilk and fold into sugar-egg mixture alternately with flour and salt. Add vanilla and pecans. Bake in greased tube pan 325°F for 1 hour and 25 minutes. Ice with your favorite icing. |
