PICNIC BURGERS | |
1 1/2 lb. ground moosemeat 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/8 tsp. pepper 3/4 c. rolled oats, uncooked 2 tsp. salt 1 c. tomato juice Mix all ingredients thoroughly and shape into 9 flat circles. Pan-fry only until meat is browned. Chill thoroughly; wrap each in aluminum foil and keep in refrigerator until you leave. Unwrap burgers and grill over the campfire, about 5 minutes on each side. Serve immediately. |
