The Loma Linda or Worthington brand of canned vegeburger can be purchased through any Adventist Book Store - google for one near you.

Similar to what I grew up on in the 60's.. Mom was a 7th Day Adventist vegetarian when she married Dad. Her version used believe it or not Michelles Wavy potato chips crushed rather than the oatmeal.. and canned mushroom soup, condensed. No flour or soy sauce.

She fried it in patties and just served it plain with sides.. or on plain white bread, home baked.

I grew up on both vegetarian and meat diets, meat when Dad was home, vegetarian when he was at work. But despite their differences they stayed married to each other till they each passed away.. That's true love.. LOL.. Dad was born in 1930, grew up on a farm where they ate everything except the Moo...

Vege burger and Choplets were the only ones I liked.. the others? not so much..
