TURKEY SALISBURY STEAKS | |
1 lb. ground turkey 3 tbsp. oil 2 slices bread 1/2 can mushroom soup 1 egg 1/2 c. milk 1 sm. onion 1 tsp. Spike, all purpose seasoning 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper Put bread, one slice at a time, in blender to make crumbs. Add milk to beaten egg and mix in bread crumbs. Let stand for a few minutes. Meanwhile, grate onion into the crumb mixture, add Spike, garlic, and pepper. Blend well. Add turkey and mix well. Form into patties - shape and size depends on your choice. Heat heavy skillet with oil and brown patties on both sides. Add 1/2 can mushroom soup plus 1/4 can water and simmer for 30-45 minutes. |
