POT ROAST IN FOIL 
3 to 4 lb. beef roast
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place meat in center of a piece of double thick or heavy duty extra wide foil; sprinkle with dry soup mix. Bring edges of foil together and seal completely. Place seam-side up in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until meat is tender.

(Roast may be baked in covered casserole rather than foil; potatoes and carrots can be added during last hour of cooking.)

(For an extra saucy roast baked in covered casserole without foil wrap. Add can of condensed cream of mushroom soup.)
