Slice pound cake or angel food cake, 1-inch thick or so. Place slices on cookie sheet. Spread each slice with sour cream or cream cheese 1/4-inch thick. Sprinkle with brown sugar.

Broil until sugar melts and is golden. Slice strawberries on top (or fresh peaches, etc.) and garnish with Cool Whip.
