CHOW CHOW 
1 head of cabbage
Green peper
Cauliflower
Salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
Mustard seed
Ginger
Red pepper
Green tomatoes
Onions
2 c. vinegar
Thyme
Celery seed

Chop up cabbage, green pepper, red pepper, tomatoes, cauliflower, and onions and put in large bowl. Pour salt over and set for 4 to 6 hours. Then drain off and add vinegar, sugar, thyme, mustard seed, celery seed, and ginger to vegetable mixture. Pack into jars and cook in boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes. Seal jars.
