HAM CARAMEL LOAF 
2 lbs. ground chuck or round steak
3 1/2 lbs. ground ham
1 1/4 loaves stale bread
5 c. milk
1 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
5 eggs
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
2 1/2 tbsp. whole cloves

Combine ground meats thoroughly. Break up bread and soak in milk. Add eggs with sugar and mustard beaten in. Add all to ground meats. In bottom of mold sprinkle with cloves. Pack meat in firmly. Bake in moderate 375 degree oven for 1 hour. Let sit for 10 minutes before slicing. This is good way to use up leftover ham from your holiday dinner.
