SAVORY RIBS 
3-4 lbs. spareribs
1 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed firm
1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
1/2 c. catsup or tomato sauce
1/4 c. chili sauce or dash hot sauce
2 tbsp. Worcestershire
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 garlic clove, minced

In large pot cover ribs with water, bring to boil. Turn down, simmer 1 hour or until tender. Saute onion in butter. Add remaining ingredients and heat. Pour over ribs in baking pan. Bake 300 degrees, 30 minutes, baste occasionally.
