TOFFEE BARS 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream well butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. Add flour and blend well. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Blend well. Press into ungreased 10 x 15 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes. Cut into 48 bars (1 x 2 1/2 inches) Cool another 25 minutes, then remove from pan. Store in airtight container when completely cooled.
