PIZZA CRUST 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 (1/4 oz.) packet active dry or quick rise yeast
1 tsp. salt
1 c. very warm water
2 tbsp. Crisco shortening

Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease pizza pan. In medium size bowl, stir together 1 cup flour, yeast and salt. Add very warm water and shortening. Mix until almost smooth by hand. Gradually stir in the remaining 1 1/2 cups flour to make firm dough. Cover. Let sit for 15 minutes. Roll out dough and press into pan. Generously prick dough with a fork. Prebake for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges turn light brown.
