EASY TIME HOLIDAY CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1 can cherry pie filling (or your choice)

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. At low speed add flour and lemon juice. Pour batter into greased and floured jelly roll pan. With fork mark off squares in batter. Place pie filling in center of each square. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. While warm sift powdered sugar over cake.
