EASY HOLIDAY SQUARES | |
1 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. butter 4 eggs 2 c. flour 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 can cherry pie filling or Solo apricot Gradually add sugar to butter in large mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beating well after each one. Add flour and lemon juice. Pour batter into well greased 15 x 10 x 1 jelly roll pan. Lightly mark off into 48 squares. Place 1 heaping teaspoon of pie filling in center of each square. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into squares. Makes 48 squares. |
