1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
1/2 c. milk
2 c. sifted flour
1 tbsp. lemon extract
1 can pie filling

Gradually add sugar to butter and blend until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beat on low speed. Add flour, milk and extract and mix. Pour batter into greased jelly roll pan with toothpick or knife mark off squares then place pie filling in each square.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. While warm sifted confectioners' sugar over squares.
