HOLIDAY BROWNIES 
4 (1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate squares
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour

Melt chocolate over hot water, or very low heat. Thoroughly cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Blend in melted chocolate, vanilla and flour. Pour batter into greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.

TOPPING:

2 stick of butter (melted at room temperature)
4 c. powdered sugar
4 tsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix these ingredients and spread over brownies.

Melt 2 squares unsweetened chocolate 2 tbsp. butter

Smooth over topping with back of spoon.
