CREAM PUFF BARS 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. water

FILLING:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. water
1 c. flour
1 tsp. almond extract
3 eggs

Combine flour, butter and water with a pastry blender. Press into 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. Bring butter and water to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir in flour and almond extract. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Pour over crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Drizzle with powdered sugar icing and top with nuts (optional).
