SAUERKRAUT WITH SAUSAGE 
1 (15 oz.) can sauerkraut
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 lb. Polish sausage

Wash sauerkraut under cold water until it no longer tastes sour. Add sugar and 1 cup water; bring to a boil. Chop Polish sausage, add to kraut with another cup of water. Cook until almost all water is gone.
